Who am I? I’m a 26 yr old youth pastor. That means that Young people come to me for advice on their relationship with God, their personal lives, their relationships, Their homework, etc. You name it they come to me. The problem is that i have stuff of my own that i have to deal with!
I myself was 18 when I came to know Christ and I immediately got started working with youth ministry. I didn’t even have the proper training I was just launched out. In fact, I still had A LOT of issues that I never dealt with properly.
Common misconception: Your issues are automatically dealt with when you come to Christ. NOT true!
Truth: I’m 26, I help people deal with their problems and mine have just been bottled up for years. If you know me then you know that I have days where I just hate the world and I act up. Well I’ve had 3 of those days in a row and honestly, It’s not getting any better.
I love Christ and everything He has done in my life! But honestly sometimes I feel like I need a shrink. In fact, I’m pretty sure I do. I’m not sure if I’m depressed, Bipolar or just emo but I have to deal with this stuff cause I’m a pretty messed up person. I’m not gonna lie, I pretty much hate myself on this day. :)
