Music Month!!

This month has been declared (by me) as Music Month! Let me explain a bit, once in a great while one Tuesday in the month will share with us one great CD by a great musical act. A little less common than that are these rather amazing Tuesdays on which two great CD’s will be on the same day, one of which is coming on the 21st. This month there are four great CD’s coming out by a four of my favorite musical acts and I knew I had to share them with you. All of the artists are from very different genres so with 4 weeks and 4 CD’s I will hopefully have something for everybody!

Music Day Update

The new emery EP is amazing. The only track that sounds mediocre is the remake of "Thoughtlife" but other than that, the songs are great. Also, in the CD booklet they included descriptions of what the songs are about and what they were going through when writing them.

John Legends Evolver is really good too! For God sakes, the man is a legend, how can you go wrong? lol. His voice over Kanye's beats is a perfect match.

Go buy these albums seriously. I think you folks would like them!

Another Music Day!

So on the 30th of September I declared a new holiday that I named "Music day." Well now I am declaring a second music day this year.

October 28th, national music day! lol

I am extremely excited about these albums. These are two of my favorite musical acts from two very different genres. nonetheless they are both amazing and I can't wait to hear their new stuff. Tuesday, music day, pick these albums up folks!

Happy Music Day!

Music day is here! It has finally arrived! Unfortunately, I was unable to take the day off, but I am still excited about it. I can’t wait to get off of work so I can go out and buy both The Glass Passenger and New Surrender! I’m freakin stoked! Lol God, this is like Christmas and my birthday rolled into one big musically satisfying day for me. I’ll be tied down with good music for the next month! On top of that I have freedom class tonight, so that’s awesome! Today is a good day! Shout out to everybody that reads my stuff!

MUSIC DAY!

I hereby declare September 30th 2008 as MUSIC DAY!

It is official. Tomorrow is going to be the best day for music in all of 2008. The long awaited Jack's mannequin "The Glass Passenger" is finally upon us. As you know I have been waiting for this CD since last year. Also, Anberlin is releasing "New Surrender," their 1st major label release. I am thinking about making this a holiday (sick day) and going out to pick up both CD's! lol. I know its a bit irresponsible, but hey, I never get sick (praise God) might as well use them for something. Well anyway, I'll let you guys know how the CD's sound.

September... Wonderful month for music!

So it turns out that September 30th is a bigger date than I thought. Not only will Jack’s Mannequin be releasing the largely anticipated “Glass Passenger,” but Anberlin Will be releasing their major label Debut “New Surrender.” Oh what a day that will be! I feel like taking that day off as a mental health day so I can listen to both albums continuously. Lol

Also on the 9th we have Jack’s mannequin “In valleys” EP available so that should be great. Today, underoaths new album came out so I should have that later today. I’ll let you guys know how it goes! Septemeber, what a wonderful month for music!
