About Me

My photo
I love writing. If you want to know anything else just ask me or else read up! I have two blogs ("A Pen Itching To Bleed Onto Paper" and "The Rebirth of J"). One of my blogs (A Pen...) is updated more frequently than the other. "The Rebirth” is more of a story I am writing with my life whereas "A Pen" would be my random thoughts past, present, and future in this unfolding journey I call life. If this is your first time reading my blog, please visit Post #2 for the month of April 2008 in my "A Pen" blog archives... Thanks!

My homeboy (part 1.)

So there are two friends that I grew up with. Their names are Rigo and Jaime. Jaime we refer to as Outsider (he was into skater fashion when we were gang-banging, he didn’t hang out much during those years of our lives.)
Rigo on the other hand had a bad hand dealt to him. His parents are still together, problem is that they’re so in love with each other that they never really paid any attention to their kids. Rigo ended up messing his life up in the gang right next to me but also ended up severely addicted to Crystal meth and cocaine. He is currently no longer addicted to these drugs. (thank God!)

Anyways, that is the story on my two guy best friends. Just wanted you guys to know who they were. This specific thought is about one of my two best friends.

Outsider met a girl online and ended up liking her. Well they started dating (long-distance relationship – He lived in Williams She lived in Riverside) and things were cool. Well, they continued to go out. Every once in a while he would go visit her in riverside and so they were all cool. After a while they got all crazy on each other and she started to complain that the distance was too much for her. At one point they even broke up because she wanted to date some other guy. When that didn’t work, guess who ended up taking her back? Yup, outsider! Apparently they lost their virginity to each other and everything! Crazy kids. They always spoke of getting married, which I thought was a bad idea.

I, in my infinite knowledge about relationships lol, was his relationship counselor. He told me everything about their relationship and aside from the whole leaving him for another guy thing; their relationship still was unhealthy! Well anyways after a while I ended up losing touch with outsider, which worried me because he makes drastic senseless decisions in his relationships when he isn’t around me.

So it seemed too me that within the coming months they would end up breaking up. I was wrong. One day, I call him and it turns out that he ended up calling in sick one day into work, taking the eight-hour drive down to Riverside, Telling her that they were going to the movies and then just kept driving until he got back to Williams. (by the way, apparently this practice is widely used when it comes to Mexican people so please don’t judge, lol) There she ended up calling her mother and letting her know that she wasn’t going to be coming home and that she was gonna marry outsider. And then the next day they end up going out to reno and getting hitched!

Before being married he had always talked about never leaving Northern and all this jazz, but then when it came down to it, she asked him to move down south to riverside with her and guess what? The dude moved down there with her! (To Be Continued!)
