Attempting to Escape!

There are days when I simply can not write! I sit there, I stare at a blank computer screen and it stares right back. My fingers dread being placed on the keyboard. My mind races in a million other directions in an attempt to escape the idea of having to write.
Sometimes writing becomes a killer chasing me in the forest of my mind. I run downhill, the forest floor covered in a blanket of dry leaves, crackling as I step on them. I know that the killer can hear me and it has already relized where I’m going. I’m tired but I have to force myself to run anyway. I try to escape it instead of fighting it. I have seen what it can do and its sheer size frightens me! It scares me instead of drawing me in. But that is only on certain days. On days like this I choose to stop running, I choose to fight, I have to force myself to write. I write whatever I force to come out… kind of like this post. :)
