About Me

My photo
I love writing. If you want to know anything else just ask me or else read up! I have two blogs ("A Pen Itching To Bleed Onto Paper" and "The Rebirth of J"). One of my blogs (A Pen...) is updated more frequently than the other. "The Rebirth” is more of a story I am writing with my life whereas "A Pen" would be my random thoughts past, present, and future in this unfolding journey I call life. If this is your first time reading my blog, please visit Post #2 for the month of April 2008 in my "A Pen" blog archives... Thanks!

Drowning in my sleep...

My mind is constantly running at 100 miles per hour. Most of the time I like to distract it with pretty much anything that will take my mind off of things. I don’t just think of situations like a normal person though. I overanalyze everything. Everything!
Even the smallest situation is dissected by this brain of mine. I don’t like to be left alone with my thoughts because they consume me. If I think into certain situations I begin to worry about them way too much and I hate that about myself because that often leads to me feeling depressed. Not only that but I also take the situations and problems of others and my honest desire is to help them but I worry way too much about their problems as well. I have issues. I think I need a vacation….

…Vegas Anyone?

You need meditation. It's the only thing at times that quiets things for me. With being Deaf there really is no distractions from your thoughts, and whatever else spins through your head once you close your eyes. I've found immersing myself in a book until my eyes close is a good way, to think of something else. (Hugs)Indigo

I worry about other people's problems too. That's why I don't watch the news or read the paper, the world depresses me.

I tend to over analyze everything, too! It's really exhausting, huh!?!

I hope you get your vacation and much needed rest!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)

J, I don't know if you have your volume up on your computer but if you scroll all the way to the end of my blog, you will see a music player with all Muse songs.

You should definitely give them a try...they are a british band. My favorite song of theirs is Our Time Is Running Out. Listen to that one first.
