So I’m researching self-esteem to teach to one of my groups and I ran across this booklet that teaches self-esteem. It goes into feelings that you have about yourself and states that if you think you’re boring, that may be a sign of self-esteem.
Are you kidding me? I think I’m pretty boring most of the time. My social skills have been withered away to a fine powder that blew away in the wind; my free time is spent doing nothing because I don’t want to go out; and I blog way too much! I love who I am but I am HELLA BORING! Lol. Don’t get me wrong, I still like to go out and have fun but most of the time I’m boring. After all, I am an adult, lol. But even though I think I'm boring that doesnt mean i have self esteem problems?!

It's whatever you like to do. I find a club boring. I'll go sometimes just because I'm invited but I really don't like it. If blogging is boring, there's a lot of boring people in this world. *M*
I like to think it's more about being comfortable in your skin; to the point you don't need to be in the thick of it to feel good about yourself. (Hugs)Indigo
hmmm... from the premise that you outlined, then, i surmise i am boring too. LOL.
i don't have self-esteem issues. i guess i am just a hermit by nature. ha ha ha ha ha!
Maybe it's feeling your boring with other things that makes someone be considered to have low-self esteem. I know i'm boring. lol but hey, i'm not a very hyper or energetic person. i love journaling, reading, writing, music, instruments and staying home, lol oh yeah and the internet, lol.
