in His Time

So I hadn't been able to read my devotional in a while until today. As i read through the lesson, a few words resonated deep inside my soul.

"Thousands of mistaken persons seek to do for Christ whatever their fancy suggests should be done, and in whatever way they think best. The what and the how of Christian service can only originate in the sovereign will of our Lord, but the busy beavers among us ignore this fact and think up their own schemes. The result is an army of men who run without being sent and speak without being commanded."

Interesting that I just wrote these blogs about not going anywhere last week and now, this week, God is speaking this into my life. In my own logic, i can't wait to move, to go, to deploy to launch a full fleged attack plan. Meanwhile, God is calling me to work Where he has called me, to speak to Whom he has called me and to do What he has called me to do. In addition to this, i have to study, prepare, and wait patiently in his presence which in all honesty is hard for me to do, considering I have the attention span of a two year old. lol. Pray for me, I'm going in!
